This site was created to help teachers find answers and information about tech issues, ranging from trying to get a handle on web 2.0 terms like RSS, to resources and tips on how to use your interactive white board more effectively, to links for recommendations for apps for Google Chrome or mobile devices like iPods and iPads. Sometimes, you may just have a simple quick question, but it might be a while until you can talk to someone from the tech department, or you’d like to find a resource, but aren’t sure where to look. That’s where we come in- to provide some resources to help you answer those questions by linking to great tutorials available online, provide links to great resources, and aggregate the information you need to feel comfortable with the tech in the classroom and maybe even some new ideas on how digital tools can be integrated in your lessons.
This site is a work in progress and we can include any information here you’d like, find useful or helpful in your teaching, just let us know what you need, and we’ll be happy to get the information for you.
This site was created by Whitney Hoffman, and you can contact her by email at ldpodcast (at) gmail.com with any questions, comments or concerns. We’ll try to get you the answers you need or address concerns as soon as possible.
